Melissa Sheketoff is the host and executive producer of Melissa in the Morning on WICC. She was hired by Connoisseur Media in 2019 and took over the morning talk show in the spring of 2020 as the first female and youngest host in WICC’s history. Her show from 5-10am is a local news and live interview-based talk show, weekdays on 600AM and 959FM. In 2024, Melissa in the Morning was voted best radio talk show in the state by the Connecticut Broadcasters Association. You can also catch Melissa’s daily newscasts on WEBE 108, weekday mornings.

Prior to her radio work, Melissa worked in television as a morning news anchor at the CBS-affiliate station, WCAX-TV, in Burlington, Vermont. She also worked extensively as a general assignment reporter there, as well as two years at News 12 Connecticut. Melissa won several Press Club Awards for Connecticut and New York and was nominated for a New York Emmy following her coverage of homeless and jobless veterans in Bridgeport, CT.
