  • Gemma is a 1-year-old domestic shorthair 
  • She came to us with her kittens from another Connecticut shelter to find a new home 
  • Her kittens will soon be available for adoption as well
  • She’s a sweet girl who enjoys the peace and quiet 
  • Staff and fosters have described her as a playful, affectionate kitty 
  • She’s not had much experience with children, but may be willing to share her home with children who can be gentle and respectful with pets 
  • She’s also not had much experience with other pets, but will likely be okay going into a home with cats and/or dogs

Data shows in 54% of cases, workaholics prioritize work before their personal lives; in 51% of cases, they worry about work, even on a day off. In 50% of cases, they have difficulties switching off while on vacation, or they simply tend to work throughout their vacations. In 48% of cases, they check emails even during the night.
Counselor, Julius Dudics, shares specific signs of workaholism including the importance of identifying if your job defines you.
