The U.S. Supreme Court delivered a partial victory to President Trump that allows the deportation of alleged Venezuelan gang members. At issue in the case Alien Enemies Act, a controversial law that allows for the detention and deportation of foreign nationals from countries actively invading the United States. We spoke with CBS Legal analyst, Thane Rosenbaum, about the court’s decision and whether the Alien Enemies Act is archaic and unethical, especially when we are not at war with Venezuela.
