Today for the Pet of the Week we have Artemis! She is a 3 year old spicy but fun cat! All our cats here are spayed/neutered as well as up to date on vaccines before we send them to their forever home.
Artemis came to us from one of our animal control partners, like many shelters they are inundated with cats so they reached out to us to see if we can assist them by taking some of their cats in. Lucky we were able to help, so Artemis and her friends came to CHS.
Since her first day here she was never shy like some can be but she can get over stimulated easily and Artemis will nip for attention. To set her up for success we would like her to go into an adult only home. A busy home should be okay since she seems to like the hustle and bustle of a busy shelter. She hasn’t met any new animals but if you have any at home we would test her with dogs or cats to see how she feels about having non-human house mates.
