The CDC is raising its alert level for monkeypox. The health agency raised the alert level for the disease to level 2 on Monday and recommended that Americans wear masks when they travel. The CDC said monkeypox cases have been reported in North and South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia. However, according to our Dr. Browne, this is not an airborne illness…so why the warning? Also, now that more vaccines are being unloaded in the US, does that mean we need to get vaccinated against monkeypox?
