24 dogs were seized from a Connecticut property and a 28-year-old woman is now facing animal cruelty charges. The accusations against Sarah Smolak are pretty horrific, but what I find fascinating is after her arrest this week, it seemed like she had been on the radar for many animal advocacy groups, including Desmond’s Army.
