The owner of three Connecticut hospitals has filed for bankruptcy protection. Prospect Medical Holdings owns Waterbury, Rockville General and Manchester Memorial hospitals. While the hospitals are expected to continue operating during chapter eleven bankruptcy process, Connecticut patients and their families are on edge. Senator Jeff Gordon weighed in on the implications this has for Connecticut. He is a member of the Public Health Committee and known as the doctor senator in our state because he is a medical doctor.
