Losing weight tends to be a top resolution for Americans in the new year. And if it’s a priority for you, don’t ruin your relationship while losing weight. A 2014 study at North Carolina State University found that many relationships suffered when one partner lost at least 30 pounds. The data showed couples began fighting over food, nagging about exercise, and feeling annoyed about the time spent on weight loss efforts. We got advice on striking a balance between weight loss goals and relationship goals.
