Superintendents across the state met in the annual back-to-school meeting this week. Despite our absenteeism rates trending in the right direction, our handling of mental health, cell phones usage and teacher retention continue to be major challenges in the average Connecticut public school. We got insight from Fran Rabinowitz, Executive Director of the CT Association of Public School Superintendents.
