The clock is ticking to become a local firefighter! Bridgeport opened firefighter applications earlier this summer for people who want to join the team in the park city. But the deadline is September 2, 2024 at 11:59PM! The application process won’t open up again for two years. Bridgeport Fire Chief Lance Edwards gave us the details on how to apply and the perks of the job that DOES NOT require a college degree.
