Today I want to introduce Sunny, a 2 year old American pitbull mix. Sunny came to us from one of our animal control partners. Sunny was with them for a good part of a year. We often try to see if we are able to help our partners by offering medical services or taking animals into our shelter. The shelter manager and I went to go visit this animal control one day and fell in love with Sunny’s personality. He can go to any size home, but he needs LOTS of exercise and enrichment. He maybe able to go to a home with another dog but we do not recommend a cat friend for Sunny. We have not seen him interact with children but we would also recommend kids 12 and up due to his size and energy.
